The certification process of Sis ID starts with an invitation by a company, in which you receive an invitation code by email to be used for your registration. Once registered, you have to add bank details on My Sis ID. If these bank details are not automatically accredited, our certification services will begin verification processes. In the case your bank details are successfully certified by Sis ID, you can then download your validity certificate and include it in your next invoices.
Getting invited
The initial step is to get invited by a Sis ID customer via My Sis ID or via API. Your company is invited through your company identifier, and the invitation email containing the invitation code is sent to the contact indicated by the inviting company.
If you didn't receive this email, you check this article: I didn’t receive the invitation by email.
Creating an account on My Sis ID
The second step is to register on My Sis ID. You can find more details about this process on the following article: How to create your account on My Sis ID?
In the case you are already registered, please consult this one: I already have an account and I received a new invitation.
Adding bank details
Next step is to add as many bank details as you need for your company, from the dashboard or by using the "My bank details tab" on My Sis ID. We describe the process for adding bank details on the platform in this article: Adding bank details as a third party.
Certification steps
Once your bank details have been added to My Sis ID, 3 alternatives are possible:
- Green score: Automatic validation by Sis ID, no certification needed. Your bank details have been verified by our system, you can directly go access the certification of validity rom the dashboard page on My Sis ID.
- Orange score: Certification process is needed, the process begins with our certification services that will perform various verifications to ensure your bank details match with your company information.
- Red score: Fraud suspicion on these bank details, Sis ID automatically score them in red. No certification process is needed. These bank details will remain not certified on the platform.
In case of an orange score and a certification process starting with Sis ID, our certification services team will proceed with a number of manual checks:
- Counter calls to a phone number identified as reliable by our anti-fraud security protocol. If the supplier does not respond to the first counter call, we repeat it several times. If no response is received after unsuccessful attempts, we send a verification letter by post.
- Postal mail sent if you phone number is not identified as reliable by our team, or if our counter calls are unsuccessful. This postal mail is sent to your official address registered with the national trade register. Therefore it is usually sent to your company's headquarters, not a local branch or subsidy.
If you are successfully certified by Sis ID, you will receive en email from My Sis ID, indicating that your bank details have been validated.
