SEPAmail DIAMOND is a network that aggregates data from several French banks, allowing a match verification between a bank account and an account holder (company or individual). This verification is limited to banks eligible for the service. You can find the list of participating banks by searching for "SEPAmail DIAMOND participating banks" in your browser and accessing the updated PDF document.

Verification results
Verifications performed through SEPAmail DIAMOND result in one of the following scores:
- Green score: The IBAN is validated.

Orange score:
- Verification is in progress by SEPAmail DIAMOND.
- Unable to provide an answer regarding this IBAN.
- Red score: The IBAN is invalid. Reason codes explain the result.

Green score
The bank details belong to the company, you can proceed with payments safely.
Orange score
1. Verification not possible by SEPAmail DIAMOND
A fraud risk has been detected, but there is insufficient information to validate or invalidate the payment.
Action: Invite your third party to get certified by Sis ID.
2. Verification in progress by SEPAmail DIAMOND
If the message "Verification in progress by SEPAmail DIAMOND" appears, the verification is temporary and usually takes one minute.

If the score remains orange after 20 minutes, click on "Retry"

If the score is still orange after 4 hours, SEPAmail DIAMOND cannot provide an answer.
Action: Consider this score as usual and invite the third party to get certified by Sis ID.
Red score
A high risk of fraud has been detected. The reasons are detailed in the "Reason" section of the result. Here the list of SEPAmail DIAMOND return codes returning a red score:

01030 - Account closed or non-existent: Ask the third party for updated bank details or verify the IBAN's accuracy.

01040 - Account outside the scope of SEPAmail: The verified IBAN is not a current account IBAN. Contact the third party for clarification.

02000 - Incorrect account holder type: The expected holder type differs (individual/company). Contact the third party for clarification.

03000 - Incorrect SIREN: The IBAN does not match the provided SIREN, possibly due to mergers, groups, or transfers. Invite the third party for further checks.

03020 - Unverifiable SIREN: Certain accounts (co-ownerships, associations) are ineligible. Invite the third party for manual verification.

04000 - Incorrect SIRET: Use the SIREN number to maximize the chances of validation.

09000 - Name and surname verification: Check and correct spelling for individuals, then retry the verification.
